Spaghetti Opera in the Press

What have the press said?

"What an absolute treat! Down in the basement at Al Duomo's there's a once-monthly night of food, wine and fabulous singing. I really didn't expect to be so enthusiastic about it - but it's bloody marvelous! The food is substantial and features hearty regional Italian dishes and a selection of deserts from the sweet trolley. We didn't go home hungry!

The performers for the evening included established opera singers Catherine Adams (Soprano), Nick Andrews (Pianist), Tony Adams (Tenor) and guests who included Linda Slingsby." Real Brighton

"They sang some of the finest Italian duets and arias, I felt as if I was party to a private performance at The Royal Opera House. It was apparent from the audience's spontaneous response and the look of sheer enjoyment on the faces around us that it was an evening to be savoured." Plays & Players

"Try some Puccini with your pasta. Two professionally trained opera singers perform with piano accompaniment solos and duets, mainly from classical and romantic repertoire, plus popular show tunes that make a very pleasant background to some serious dining. It's an ideal choice for parties and, as the whole evening is fairly informal, any celebration, could be held here." What's On
